Karima Francis Signs to Vertigo Records
Congratulations to Karima Francis who has signed a new record deal with Vertigo Records, a division of Mercury Music Group and Universal Music UK. The label will release her upcoming album which was produced by Flood at Assault & Battery 2 studio.
A review in The Independent recently called her 'The next big thing, only much, much better' saying "her voice is unique, distinguishable from any other... her first album is a stunner, there is always the fear that the follow up will be a disappointment but not here. ‘On a Rope’ is the standout track – eerie and haunting beyond anything I imagined to come from somebody who I already know is capable of creating one hell of an atmosphere."
You can hear one of Karima's new tracks on Record of the Day by clicking this link.
