Hola! It's been a while since you've read a newsletter, so we have much to say. Diesel Disko is transformed into a 3-piece band with a new drummer. This offers new opportunities and perspectives. More reason to go into the studio to record new songs!

New drummer
For most people no longer news, but at lot has changed in the formation last months. The original drummer Edwin Zandhuis departed in August 2009 to the warm south to try his luck there. We have had several substitutes, but then we found a real click with current drummer Hanz Lasthuis. A few weeks before the gig in the Melkweg, we met this magic drummer and it was immediately a hit! Here's an impression of the show in the Melkweg with Cobra Starship. Oh and check immediately that steadily growing fanbase!

New record
In 2008 we released our first EP. In 2009 the song "Cannonball" came out on a compilation CD of Stuck In A Day Records. Therefore, high time for something new! As you noticed during the live gigs many new songs passed the curtains but never were released. Next month we go into the studio to record these songs. The new EP is expected after the summer. Of course we will let you hear some previews soon to get a tease!
