Design Den Haag presents
Timo de Rijk curator Norm = Form Gemeentemuseum Den Haag
Timo de Rijk, design historian at the Delft University of Technology, is curator of the exhibition Norm = Form, on standardisation and design. The exhibition will take place in the Gemeentemuseum Den Haag, from May through August 2010. Accompanying the exhibition, a book will be published with the same title, written by Timo. Further information about the exhibition will be published on our website in March.

In the context of Design and Government
Workshop The Hague University 6 January 2010, Den Haag
30 Students from The Hague University are working on ideas for meeting places in parks and squares in European governmental cities. In preparation some of them have travelled to Paris, Stockholm and Berlin. This week the students have given a presentation with the first propositions based on interactivity, new technologies and social awareness. Read more

Mondriaan Foundation and DutchDFA
In addition to the city of Den Haag, the programme of Design and Government in 2010 is now also being financially supported by the Mondriaan Foundation and DutchDFA. The Mondriaan Foundation encourages the appreciation of visual arts, design and cultural heritage from the Netherlands. DutchDFA aims to strengthen and consolidate the international position of Dutch design, fashion and architecture.
