"Playboy Club" flops big time!
The top place I ran from when I lived in Hollywood for 10 years was the Playboy Mansion. I'm glad many viewers RAN from the "Playboy Club's" debut on NBC last week as well! NBC earned it's major low ratings award for trying to impose this insane show's behaviors to us.
Back in the 1980's NBC was at the top of the network list during a time where entertainment leaders were welcomed to have their prayer group meet at the commissary. Back then "The Cosby Show" was the #1 family show to watch. I miss those quality TV shows. Today, NBC falls behind ABC, CBS and FOX.
People obviously want clean, good-hearted entertainment. The top show that aired the same night was "Castle" which is a law-abiding good guys take down the bad guys theme. Now that's my kind of entertainment!

 OK...so I don't spend my hard earned cash at the movies unless it's a MUST SEE flick. This movie is definitely a MUST SEE! Courageous comes out tomorrow Friday, September 30 and it will be a movie that will change your life forever. From the creators of some of my all-time favorite films, "Fireproof," & "Saving the Giants," this movie will rock. ( click on poster to check out the website and watch the trailer)

I've seen Brian Regan live and have shown Brad Stine's hilarious comedy in hundreds of high school presentations, but this dude is also absolutely awesome! Many teens love Tim Hawkin's clean, raw, real-life comedy. Get ready to bust a gut. I'd love to tour with Tim! (click on photo for some clips from recent shows)
Ben & Jerry's was a great place to hang out and get some great ice cream. "Was" is the key word. There's no reason this company has to bring raunchiness to their flavors of ice cream. I don't want my kids saying it - let alone eating it. Schweedy Balls is the name of their newly released ice cream flavor. Big BOO!
Pete Schweddy did a skit on Saturday Night Live and stated, "There are lots of great treats this time of year (holiday time) -zucchini bread, fruit cake, but the thing I most like to bring out this time of year are my balls." Seriously?
Take a stand and contact Ben and Jerry's HERE and tell them NOT to release their new ice cream to our kids. I'm stickin' with Tom & Jerry not Ben and Jerry :D
Mike Edwards recently started Northland Radio from my home state of Wisconsin. Mike told me his passion for this new endeavor.
"I started this radio station because I love music and I wanted to help Christian artists who were just starting out. We as a station believe that money should not get in the way of praising our father above. It is very expensive to be played on regular radio stations if you are not labeled with BMI, ASCAP, etc. So what I did was bring some of the old time christian rock that you don't hear anymore and brought on some new and up-coming excellent artists. This station is also listener supported."

Nick Cannon & Mariah Carey are just one of several Hollywood couples who "waited" to have sex until their wedding night. Both said that "waiting" was the best choice for their relationship.
Interesting how so many acotrs in Hollywood promote sexual activity, yet preserve it until they exchange vows. I'm glad this couple chose a great path to start their lives together as ONE.

FAST FACTS
I always feel queezy when exposing the graphic sexual messages in the latest pop-culture idols' songs. However, I know this truth needs to be shared...and hopefully it will save lives and heart ache in the process.
ONE MAJOR icon that needs to be banned is Rihanna. She is plastered all over Hollywood's film, TV, radio etc. and her message is anything but safe for our kids.
Her lyrics off her LOUD album include, "I may be bad, but I'm perfectly good at it - Sex in the air, I don't care, I love the smell of it. Sticks and stones may break my bones but chains and whips excite me."
Her blatant oral sex, volence, abuse and alcohol messages throughout her lyrics and her actions in her music video are killing our children both mentally and physically. Let's protect them from Rihanna and give them a longer healthier life.
