Dear Baja Insider Subscriber:

Feliiz cumpleaños (Happy Birthday) to ourselves. This week the Baja Insider celebrated our 6th birthday. We have come a long way since our initial 64 pages were launched on August 9, 2003. Most of our original 270 subscribers are still receiving our Insider Updates today. We would like to extend a big thank you to all our subscribers for making us the widest read regular publication in Baja. With our 50% off advertising special for August and September now is a great time to reach folks interested in your Baja business.

We have been very fortunate here in Baja Sur this summer, evening breezes which usually end in mid July continue to freshen the evening air. But the humidity is slowly climbing, check out our Weather page , Tropical Watch Weather and the current conditions at CostaBaja Resort in La Paz. Our Hurricane Watch Report is posted every week, now through the end of the Baja hurricane threat season in mid October. Every week we take a statistical and strategic look at the factors which could point a tropical cyclone in our direction. And should a tropical cyclone threaten Baja, the Insider provides the best on the scene coverage anywhere in any media. Well, as long as our internet connection holds out.

While you are sitting around this summer we suggest you improve your Espanol and take a few minutes to enjoy our 5 free online language lessons. It will make you feel more like a native the next time you visit Mexico.

With the Baja Hurricane Season just about to begin we highly recommend home owners insurance, provided to us by the Oscar Padilla Agency, one of the most reputable and well know Mexico insurance providers. It is quick, it is affordable and it is online right here. You can also buy your Mexican driving Insurance policy online here too. Having your Baja trip cut short with complications from an auto accident can be easily avoided with the purchase of a Mexico Auto Insurance Policy.
