A 'European' embassy
In cooperation with the Royal Academy of Art

Architecture students of the Royal Academy of Art in Den Haag will start with a project on Dutch embassies, on the initiative of Design Den Haag. Under the guidance of Eric Vreedenburgh and Rainer Bullhorst, the students will make designs and models for a 'European' embassy. Read more

Final presentations European Bench

In cooperation with The Hague University

The 30 students that have been working on the project 'European Bench' have presented their final concepts. During one semester the students have worked on designs for meetingplaces in parks and squares in European governmental cities. Read more

Lecture on election posters
16 February 2010, 12.30 - 13.15 hrs, Delft University of Technology

Together with the Museum for Communication, Design Den Haag will hold a lecture on how election posters are being used by political parties in Holland and in Germany to seduce the voter. Read more

International jury 'A new symbol for Europe'
Deadline 1 March 2010

Over two hundred designers from all over the world have already submitted their ideas for a new symbol for Europe. submissions are coming from countries such as India, Canada, Yemen and Japan. The members of the international jury who will judge the submissions, under the chairmanship of Gert Dumbar, are now known, view here.
