Design Den Haag invites you to attend the launch of the exhibition Soft City at Stroom Den Haag. We support the participation of the Norwegian artist Hariton Pushwagner (1940, Oslo), because we want to provide the government and the creative community with material for discussion and reflection upon public space and architecture. German political poster gallery online September 2009
After the Dutch political poster gallery, now also the German gallery can be viewed online. The collection with posters dating from 1918 till now is being used as a base for an exhibition about politics and visual communication, which will be held during the first edition of Design and Government in 2010. Curator debate programme Berlin September 2009, Berlin
Lucas Verweij, living in Berlin, will develop content for the debate programme that will take place during the fall of 2010. Lucas was dean at the Academy of Architecture and Urban Design in Rotterdam and is the initiator of Design Platform Rotterdam. More information will follow soon.

Manufactum - Sustainability through quality September 2009, Den Haag
The German company Manufactum has an interesting collection of day-to-day products that have been on the market unchanged for decades. Thereby Manufactum contributes to the discussion about quality and durability. Annemarie van Noort, student at The Hague University, has conducted her graduate research on this company, commissioned by Design Den Haag.
