HAMITHERM - Leader in product innovation

In the recent past Hamitherm has made a number of changes in their production and product specification that will further improve ease of assembly and product performance. As this may not always be visible we would like to point these out to our existing and prospective customers.

Screws

At this moment all connectors produced are fitted with custom made screws with the following advantages:

Stainless steel for maximum corrosion protection
Combi shape heads for use with slotted or Phillips screwdrivers
Magnetic Stainless steel allow for automated pick-up

Crimpinsert

The program of crimp inserts features the following:

Wide dimension range.
All imperial and metric sizes Mineral Insulated cable
Starting 0,6 mm for the mini mineral cable up to 9 ,0 mm for ¼” flexible armour
All crimp inserts are annealed to allow maximum deformation. This means they can be used on MI cable but also on round or oval flexible wire.
Nickel plated for professional appearance

Color consistency

All thermocouple connector manufacturers are constantly striving to achieve a constant coloring for all products, plugs jacks and panel inserts and also between body and cover.

This is very difficult to achieve as the components may not be produced at the same time. All Hamitherm molded components are now controlled by a digital color meter ensuring that no visible color differences can occur.

Entrance hole

All Hamitherm connectors have a large entrance hole to get maximum advantage of using crimpinserts for all applications.

Especially for flexible wire crimpinserts are a more economical and better engineered solution for fitting the connector
