Economy Line Expanded

A few years ago Hamitherm introduced the economy line of connectors. The reason for doing this was to be able to offer connectors for high volume applications where price is a major issue.

We offered the economy connectors in J and K calibration in IEC and ANSI color code only.

Over the period that we have these connectors in our program we have seen that the market has a need for this productline as an alternative for products being supplied by our UK or US competitors. This has resulted in an explosive growth of our sales in these products.

Probably also caused by the present economic situation, we are pressurized by a number of our existing customers to further expand the economy productline, also in reply to the present rate of exchange for the UK and US currency .

For that reason Hamitherm BV will extend the economy line to all calibrations and all colorcode. Please note that minimum order quantities will be applicable depending on the model involved.

The pricing for these connectors will be the same as before being:

Miniature Plug: € 0,75

Standard Plug: € 1,10

Inventory level increased

In order to properly service the market requirements we have increased our inventory by 50% to approximately 200.000 thermocouple connectors and 40.000 panel inserts.

As a result of this increased inventory, we are able to supply any demand ex-stock. This will enable our customers to implement cost savings by decreasing their in house inventory to the absolute minimum and rely on our proven service for short delivery times. We can normally ship within 24 hours after receipt of the order. This reduces the amount of funds tied up in inventory and improves the cash-flow of our customers. In this way we try to support our customers in the current difficult marketsituation.

Apart from the stock level for our connectors and accessories we have also increased the extensive stock on components. This means that- even more than before- we will be able to produce large quantities for any end product needed. Due to our flexible production planning we are now able to produce connectors and ship orders with-in a week. This is valid for our complete product range.
