The exhibition 'Soft City' is on view through 8 November, 2009 at Stroom Den Haag. Design Den Haag 2010-2018 supports the participation of the Norwegian artist Hariton Pushwagner in the exhibition to provide the government and the creative community with material for discussion and reflection on public space and architecture. Workshop 'Unity and / or diversity for Europe' 2 - 7 November 2009, VIDE, Den Haag
In cooperation with VIDE, Design Den Haag will organise a workshop on the identity of Europe and how Europe presents itself with this identity. The workshop, with participating students from he UK, Germany, Holland, Czech Republic and Estonia, will be guided by Paul Hughes (LAVA) and Catelijne van Middelkoop (Strange Attractors Design). Publication 'The visual identity of the government'
Publication date will be announced soon, Den Haag
In cooperation with the interdepartmental project group 1 Logo, Design Den Haag is working on a publication about the visual identity of the Dutch government. Maaike Molenkamp, master student at the Utrecht University, is conducting research on commissions in the field of visual design issued by the Dutch government since 1945.
