     Greetings Pastor2Youth.com Member/Subscriber,

     There is always new information to share about what is happening at Pastor2Youth.com. It is a joy to be able to share with all of you the exciting things happening and the new resources available to all users. I pray that you will find this information useful and will be blessed by the features and resources at Pastor2Youth.com that are intended to help you in your ministry to youth. Please allow me to share with you some news and announcements about the highlights, help, and resources at your disposal.

It has been a great pleasure to serve so many of you in youth ministry for the past 8 years. But the time has come due to circumstances beyond our control for Pastor2youth.com to shut down permanently.

     At times like this, it feels near impossible to find the right words to say...and so I leave you with this last thought: APRIL FOOLS!!!!

     Ok, now that I have your attention, though - please continue to read the important updates for pastor2youth.com below!!!

At Pastor2Youth.com I believe that NO Youth Worker is an “average” Youth Worker – you all are making an impact for the kingdom of God – and that is HUGE!!!

      Our feature called "In the Trenches" which interviews and highlights Youth Workers from around the world is continuing to moving forward. You can view our sixth interview with J. Ingram, the full-time Pastor to Youth in Shawnee, KS by scrolling down a little on the homepage. In addition, the "In the Trenches" Interview Archive is now active on the right-hand side of our homepage. Here you will be able to access both the current interview as well as all prior interviews. I encourage you to take some time to stop by and read these interviews. If you find something that touches your heart I encourage you to either e-mail the individual and share how you have been touched, or send the e-mail to me and I will pass it on to them for you.

     I am very excited to be able to highlight individuals who are "in the trenches" of youth ministry and working every day to impact the lives of students with the Gospel. It is always amazing to see how God is working in our lives and how He is working in different parts of the world - all for the same purpose - so that we may come to know HIM and know His saving Grace and Mercy.

     Are you working in youth ministry (full-time, part-time, volunteer)? Do you want to share what God has been doing in your ministry?      In addition, all interviews will remain on Pastor2Youth.com in the Interview Archives section. Keep an eye out for this as New Interviews get published and highlighted.

     Exciting NEW things happening at Pastor2youth.com

     Are you looking for a job in Youth Ministry? Are you a church looking to advertise your new opening? Do you have a friend who is looking for a position? Pastor2youth.com is happy to introduce our NEW Job Bank!!! Like everything else on Pastor2youth.com this service is FREE of charge. If you are a youth worker, you are welcome to come to the site and add your resume for churches to browse. If you are a church looking for someone you can post your job posting on pastor2youth.com. You can also utilize the "search" feature to look for specific jobs, locations, etc.

     Like anything that is brand new, this will take a bit of time to develop and fill with information. So, if you know anyone that would fit into either category, please pass this information on to them. Pastor2youth.com now has over 6,600 registered members - so there is a good level of exposure available.

     I am excited to continue assisting youth workers in providing resources that may be helpful and useful and feel this job bank is just another step. This is not to try and take the place of any other job banks out there, but to ADD exposure. When you are looking for a job, or looking to fill a position, you can never get too much exposure. So, my hope is that the pastor2youth.com job bank will simple be used to ADD exposure for those seeking to fill a position or seeking a job themselves and not as a competition. If your ad or resume is already listed elsewhere, you can feel free to list it ALSO on pastor2youth.com.

     A PLEA TO ALL PASTOR2YOUTH.COM USERS: As I mentioned just above, Pastor2youth.com now has OVER 6,600 registered members. There are a lot of members who regularly stop by to download lessons, Powerpoint Games, Powerpoint and MediaShout Backgrounds, and to pick up games for their youth group programs, just to mention a few. It is exciting to see so many people making use of, downloading, and utilizing the resources from pastor2youth.com. That is what the site is here for.

     So, now is where I send out a PLEA to all of you to PLEASE take two-minutes to stop by Pastor2youth.com and submit some resources for inclusion on the site: whether it be a lesson, a Powerpoint File, and game you play, or some other miscellaneous file that you utilize in your ministry. If we could get just HALF of all registered members to submit ONE resource this month, we could add an additional 3,328 resources to this constantly growing site. How awesome would that be? Think about the return-rate. You give 1 and get in return 3,328!!! That is quite the return. All resources are able to be submitted directly on the site by clicking on the "add game" or "add resource" link within the proper section of the site.

     Another reminder as well: You can personalize your password to make it easy to remember for the future. Once you log in, click on the "My Account" link in the left-hand column. Inside there, you will find a link titled "Change Your Info". If you click there, you can personalize as much of your account information as you would like, including the option at the bottom to change your password. Enter the new password twice and push save - then you don't have to worry about trying to keep track of, or remembering, that crazy automated password you received when you first registered at Pastor2Youth.com.
