Lillie, a seven-month-old Pit Bull mix, came to ACGSR in mid-September, thanks to Gina Wolf and
Linda Shen. These two rescue angels saved Lillie from being euthanized by the Monterey County shelter. Says Lillie's temporary foster mom, "Lillie is everything you could ever want in a dog!"

Emma, a four-month-old German Shepherd Dog, was found severely injured in the desert with her hind leg caught in a coyote trap. Her leg could not be saved and had to be amputated. Many thanks to rescue angel Shannon for saving Emma's life and bringing her to us.

Bear, pictured to the right, has lived nearly all of his two years at the Dog House Inn. He cannot be adopted until he's had total hip replacement surgery, at a cost of $7,000. To help sponsor Bear's surgery and recovery, click on the 'Donate' button above and note Bear's name on your check or Paypal payment. While he awaits surgery, Bear is looking for a temporary foster family so he may experience the love and warmth of the home life he so richly deserves.
