     Greetings Pastor2Youth.com Member/Subscriber,

     There is always new information to share about what is happening at Pastor2Youth.com. It is a joy to be able to share with all of you the exciting things happening and the new resources available to all users. I pray that you will find this information useful and will be blessed by the features and resources at Pastor2Youth.com that are intended to help you in your ministry to youth. Please allow me to share with you some news and announcements about the highlights, help, and resources at your disposal.

     Attention Writers! We're currently seeking submissions of Bible study curricula for an exciting new annual project we will launch this fall! Keep reading for the description of this new annual project and how you can be a part of it.

     Welcome to "YouthBlast"!!! This annual project is very exciting. Let me tell you a little bit about it... but read on, because we need YOUR HELP. Are you tired of the same old youth retreats? One more game of “capture the flag” and you’ll have a mutiny on your hands? It’s time for a YouthBlast!
     YouthBlast05 is a high-energy youth weekend designed to recharge your youth group through games, activities, worship, and Bible study.
     The YouthBlast Guide will be designed to cover everything you need to run your very own YouthBlast weekend. The event can be scaled to support as many or as few attendees as you expect.
     The games, activities, and curriculum presented in the guide will serve as both a resource and an example for your planning. You will be able to use all the articles in the guide for your own YouthBlast, or substitute your own lessons, youth group games, etc.

     Please submit your original curriculum via email to uthpastor@pastor2youth.com. Here's what we're looking for:

     For the purpose of the curriculum, think "youth retreat," add caffeine and sugar, then shake until frothy.

     - Five lessons geared toward 7th to 12th grade students in small group settings (6 to 8           students with one group leader)
     - Each Bible study needs to last 20 to 30 minutes, and include response questions
     - The curriculum needs to be themed around a specific concept. The proposed theme for           this year's project is "In the Beginning," and may include discussion about creation,           the beginnings of popular biblical figures' ministries, the beginning of the Christian           faith, how to begin as a new Christian, and so forth.
     - If you have other ideas for themed lessons, feel free to submit them as well. Even if           your theme isn't selected this year, we may save it for use in future years' editions.
     - Keep it interesting and topical. Relevance to the teenage life's issues and connections to           popular culture are key.
     - We are looking for original and exciting ideas, lessons that will make an impact on the           lives of these students.

Your work remains your property at all times. If selected for use in this or future projects, you give Pastor2youth.com permission to reproduce your material in part or in whole for open distribution to registered users. Project materials will be distributed from Pastor2youth.com free of charge and, therefore, no royalties will be paid for the use of submitted material. You will be credited in all documentation in which any part of your submission is used. Pastor2youth.com also reserves the right to revise this agreement with ample notification.

     A CONTINUED PLEA TO ALL PASTOR2YOUTH.COM USERS: PLEASE FIND EVEN JUST ONE RESOURCE THAT YOU HAVE CREATED AND WOULD SUBMIT TO PASTOR2YOUTH.COM'S YM EXCHANGE.

     Exciting things are happening at Pastor2youth.com now has OVER 15,800 registered members. There are a lot of members who regularly stop by to download fonts, lessons, Powerpoint Games, Powerpoint and MediaShout Backgrounds, Powerpoint lessons, and to pick up games for their youth group programs, just to mention a few. It is exciting to see so many people making use of, downloading, and utilizing the resources from pastor2youth.com. That is what the site is here for.

     So, now is where I send out my CONTINUED PLEA to all of you to PLEASE take two-minutes to stop by Pastor2youth.com and submit some resources for inclusion on the site: whether it be a lesson, a Powerpoint File, and game you play, or some other miscellaneous file that you utilize in your ministry. If we could get just HALF of all registered members to submit ONE resource this month, we could add an additional 7,900 resources to this constantly growing site. How awesome would that be? Think about the return-rate. You give 1 and get in return 7,900!!! That is quite the return. All resources are able to be submitted directly on the site by clicking on the "add game" or "add resource" link within the proper section of the site.

     There are a few who have continued over the past month to submit resources to the site to help with the continued growth and I would like to express a special thanks to them. I appreciate how you help pastor2youth.com to continue to grow, and provide fantastic resources for all to use. So to those who have contributed, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

So, please help add to this list of contributors and continue to make Pastor2youth.com a growing and vital resource for youth workers around the world.

     Another reminder as well: You can personalize your password to make it easy to remember for the future. Once you log in, click on the "My Account" link in the left-hand column. Inside there, you will find a link titled "Change Your Info". If you click there, you can personalize as much of your account information as you would like, including the option at the bottom to change your password. Enter the new password twice and push save - then you don't have to worry about trying to keep track of, or remembering, that crazy automated password you received when you first registered at Pastor2Youth.com.
