Greetings from Mexico. Summer is nearly here, the kids only have a few weeks left at school, and hopefully life will calm down a bit very soon.
It has been non stop since Tym came back from England at the end of April. Back for a few days and then down to Mexico City to visit our outreach team. When he got back, Sam and her sister were away for a few days. Tym and Sam were then off again to a Marriage retreat in LA. (Family Life - Weekend to Remember) Which i would recommend to any couple.. Getting back from there, Tym went straight into teaching for a week, with the returning students, and then graduating them. Along with family visitors from the UK, and all our regular work and life to do, it's been a pretty crazy couple of months...
HERES AN UPDATE FROM THE LAST FEW MONTHS... ENJOY

Last weekend we had the honor of taking the family out and building a home for a family in Ensenada. Our family was the Hernandez Mora family. Salvador, Patricia, with thier kids; Evelin, Perla & Braulio, have never had their own home. They always rented. A bit over a year ago they bought some land. They now have a very small shack there, they had to move there soon after buying the land, because they couldn't keep paying the rent and the land payments at the same time. |

Their current shack is in very bad conditions. It is very old, the roof now doesn't work and it has been very badly damaged by the rain. READ MORE>>>

Central Mexico Outreach...
|
|
One of the privaledges of my job, is the opportunity to go and visit my outreach teams in other parts of the world. Last week i had the chance to go down to Central Mexico to visit my training school outreach team.
Our trip started, arriving in Mexico City, followed by a 2 hour bus ride to Pachuca. We then got the midnight bus along the windy and bumpy road to San Felipe. Finally arrivng in Huitzitzilingo for breakfast.
This was a town, unlike anywhere i have been to in Mexico. At times it was hard to believe i was in the same country as my home in Ensenada. Here the students were giving English classes, teaching in schools, practical help in the local community, and performing thier presentation "Los Sueños" (dreams) READ MORE>>>

England Trip - Thank You...
|
 |
|
Out of all my trips back home, this been one of the bussiest, but also one of the most relaxing and enjoyable. It was great to catch up with most of the family at Simon's wedding. I still cant believe my baby sister Lizzie is old enough to go into a pub!!!
Thank you to Everyone who put me up, fed me, or donated to my trip. It's been a great time. And also sorry to the few people i missed - I promise i'll get to yours next time.
