BIODIESEL TO OBAMA:
THE TAX CREDIT IS A BFD!
Recently, the U.S. Senate passed a bill to reinstate the biodiesel tax credit, extending the $1/gallon biodiesel production tax credit. The tax credit will be retroactive to January 1 and run through December 31, 2010. Earlier this year, the House passed a similar bill.
NOW BIODIESEL NEEDS YOUR HELP
Before its final passage, both bills need to be reconciled in conference and receive a presidential signature.
Since the expiration of the tax credit, U.S. biodiesel production has dropped by more than 80 percent, impeding national goals for energy independence and job creation. For our environment, our struggling economy, and our children's health - it is CRUCIAL that this bill be passed without further delay.
Please help us save biodiesel by making your voice heard on this important issue. Without pressure from you, reconciliation could take many more months that the industry cannot afford.

The 3rd Annual Go Green! Greenpoint!
