**************NEWSLETTER!!!*****************
***********************************************
WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!?!
***********************************************
Lookit, I gotta life, okay? I've been
reading. I've been playing around on
my Facebook page. I've been trying
to keep up with my three cats, who
want food and expensive toys they
never even look at because they'd
rather play with the stupid plastic ring
from the milk jug and eat Shrimp
Snappies, which, for the love of all that
is holy, smell just as bad going in as they
do coming out and…
***********************************************
WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH ME?
***********************************************
Oh, right. Well, you see, Shrimp Snappies
don't grow on trees, so I thought I should
tell my UK readers that GENESIS, which is
called UNDONE in the US, will be available
for the first time ever in paperback
THIS THURSDAY.
Hurray!
Shrimp Snappies for everyone!
***********************************************
BUT-BUT-BUT…I ALREADY READ GENESIS
(WHICH IS CALLED UNDONE IN THE US)!!!
***********************************************
Well, might I tempt you with something
new? Something that takes you back to
a little town I like to call Grant County?
***********************************************
BROKEN IS COMING!!! BROKEN IS COMING!
***********************************************
BROKEN opens with Detective Lena Adams
watching a body being pulled out of Lake
Grant. Mayhem ensues, and Sara, who is
back in town for the first time in almost four
years, suspects there's more to the case than
meets the eye. She calls in Special Agent Will
Trent and his partner Faith MItchell to investigate,
and I can't tell you the rest because that would
spoil it for you and I wouldn't want to do that,
but suffice it to say…bad stuff happens.
Mark your calendars (known as diaries in the UK)
with these Very Important Dates:
June 22: BROKEN on sale in the US
July 8: BROKEN on sale in the UK
Somewhere in between:
Verbroken* will be on sale in Holland
It is a BOOKLY BOUNTY!!!
***********************************************
AHEM. AREN'T YOU FORGETTING
SOMETHING???
***********************************************
Oh, yeah!
I'm gonna leave y'all alone for a while, at least
until the paperback of UNDONE (called GENESIS
in the UK) publishes in the US on May 26th but
then after that, expect lots more stuff, in my
blatant attempt to get y'all to go out and get
you some BROKEN, including:
***CONTESTS!
***PRIZES!
***TOUR ANNOUNCEMENTS!
***MORE PRIZES!
***And of course…MORE CONTESTS!
***********************************************
WHATTA I DO UNTIL THEN???
***********************************************
You can always find me on Facebook
http://www.facebook.com/AuthorKarinSlaughter
Or you can go to my website and play some of
the new puzzles:
http://www.karinslaughter.com/puzzles.shtml
Or get a tattoo of one of these on your arm:
http://karinslaughter.com/photo.shtml
Wouldn't one of these make a lovely tattoo?
And you know you've been wanting one.
I'm just sayin'
***********************************************
THAT'S IT FOR NOW!
***********************************************
I gotta get back to working on FALLEN, the next
book in the series, which will be out in 2011, but
don't worry your pretty little heads about that right
now. Just brace yourself for some Very Big Contests
that feature Special Stuff and Prizes Never Seen
Before, at least not in any contest by me.
***********************************************
*I always suspected Dutch wasn't a real language,
but this is ridiculous. You can't just put “Ver” in
front of an English word and say it's foreign now.
I am on to you, Dutchies!
***********************************************
If you no longer wish to be on my newsletter mailing
list then I would like to point out that I haven't sent
one of these puppies in at least a year so what is the
big deal? Why are you being such a vergoober, as
the Dutch would say? Would it kill you to let me
check in on you every now and then and beg you
to go out and get one of my books? Well, fine then.
Let it kill you. So send “unsubscribe” to
karin@karinslaughter.com or click that unsubscribe
linky thingy below this message. I'm sure your family
and friends or at least your dog will miss you. Your
cat, on the other hand, won't even notice you're gone
and by the way, be sure to leave him a milk rink.
